It was a private island and very commercial. Although it was nice, there really wasn’t much Belizean culture there to enjoy.

Small nice port, we did jungle tubing! Floated down a river on tubes with a guid that was very informative, good if you love nature and relaxing floats

Disappointed AGAIN. Chose to try River tubing - DON'T waste your money. It was 25-40 minute boat ride then a 50 minute (old school) bus ride to river - saw NOTHING on the river as far as wild life. We tubed for 50 minutes being towed along by a guide tied together - NOT WORTH wasting a whole day. Would never do it again. Spent over 3 hours traveling and 1 hour tubing to see locals do their laundry in the river we were on. TERRIBLE

This is there private island and everything is a charge. Food and drinks should be free on there private island. The sand was little rocks not sand at all hurt your feet to walk on. And the water was so murky you could not even snorkel 🙁

No excursion. Walked around the shopping area and visited the beach/pool area. Was nice but the food and drink cost money. Cheaper to eat on the boat.

Many people post about how bad Belize is but I have never had issues here like I did in Jamaica. We rented a buggy and explored the city. It looks a lot like New Orleans. The reef snorkeling and diving was great. I find the people friendly. There’s not a lot of shopping to be done other than dock area.

This private island is wonderful. We however live in Pensacola,FL where we already have beautiful beaches & water sports,so this is not a min draw for us. We did however go on an excursion to Nim Li Punit Ruins, and Spice Farm w/ Botanical Gardens in the Toldeo.Belize area. We were saddend that they had closed the Little Museum at Nim Li Punit due to Covid, which held many of the stelas and findings from the ruins. LOVE BELIZE...We have taken cruises where we get to stop at Belize City port which has tons of shopping .This port is a good distance from this private island port.
