Pool and shops were very clean and beautiful, but the whole island was a cash grab. As opposed to other private islands for NCL, this was not inclusive. $22 for 2 beers in the pool, wasn’t hard to see why the ship was busier than most other port days...

Unbelizeable! Great culture. Very laid back and accepting of foreigners. Went to working cacao farm, ate lunch, then went to Mayan cultural center. Thinking of this place as a retirement location. Simple way of life and pretty inexpensive.

Wasn’t impressed with the official port area. It was not authentic. Cute and clean, but not real. We had some coconut water and then took the ferry to Placencia for a couple of hours to wander around the little village. Kind of empty. Making a guess here but it seems 90% of the village is probably employed by NCL and most of the workers were back at the port area. There a few shops, restaurants, and craft makers on the “world’s narrowest Main Street.” The people were friendly, other than the massage lady that complained about the US the whole time she gave my sister a “cannabis oil” massage. Glad I checked out the place but was glad to get back to the ship. We had drinks and fish tacos at the Tipsy Tuna and we really enjoyed it. Be prepared for people coming up to you selling stuff while you’re eating if you sit at the bars facing the beach.

I Wasn't real impressed with this stop. Other than the pool, not a whole lot to do. Fairly expensive. I think I would just stay on the ship next time and enjoy a pool day. It's pretty, but on the ship your food, drinks are free, plus you have the pool.

Easy walk off and on. You want really need an shore excursion for this port as there is loads of free things to do. My favourite is the swim up pool bar
