Very beautiful and clean private island/TOURIST TRAP. The pool is large but the closest bathroom is very long distance away. The are a lot of chairs and very few umbrellas. The beach was pretty but the water way to murky. All food and drinks were so very expensive. Souvenirs were so pricey.

We opted not to book an excursion because they were pricey. We didn't need one, this is actually the ship's private island and there is an awesome pool, activities and shopping right there. Also they was a great swim up pool bar and restaurant on site

Tried to do something here that was not associated with the Theme park atmosphere of Harvest Caye. The actual port is beautiful with a huge pool and great beach but I wanted to see Belize. Catching the ferry to Placencia is a $25 RT and highly discouraged ... and once in Placencia there is really no time/availability of anything other than "snorkel" trips. If I had it to do again I'd stay in port on the Caye or book a ship tour on the mainland.

Beautiful clean new safe island. The only complaint I would have is that I didn’t get the authentic feel I would have if I was Actually in Belize.

The pool was awesome, but the beach somewhat disappointing. Water wasn’t clear and sand was rocky. We enjoyed the pool most of the day and returned to the ship early.

Did the zipline from the top of the lighthouse, then had some rum punch in the pool for a few hours.

Disneyland in Belize. Manicured little mangrove island where everything will cost you plenty. Huge (free) shallow pool, rock-sand beach (eh), and $6 beers. Get the morning water ferry to Placencia and escape. Book a snorkel or beach trip there. Sit on the wonderful beaches and drink $2 beers. Walk the 2 mile boardwalk that winds thru town and buy something you dont need.

Go take the ferry ride to nearby Placencia instead of staying in the port. Better beach and better deals in Placencia. Trust me on this!! I wish we went to Placencia much earlier in the day. Get your tickets as they sell out fast.

Went on the Mayan Ruin excursion wow what a lonnnnnnng tour duration was to be 6.5 hours it took almost 8 thought we were going to miss the ship but we were covered very informative and if you love history this is a great tour just be prepared for a very long day.

Drinks are overpriced on the island and the bar service was bad.
