Lots of wonderful shops. Spread along the water . The people were sweet & friendly. I saw some really high end purses, backpacks. Looking forward on going back. Want to find a close by place to get in the water and snorkel.

We did the Starfish Island excursion. Was able to get some snorkeling in even in the rain (didn’t matter, already wet and fish had no idea!) Saw lots of pretty fish!

Harvest Caye is also a private island, though I believe it is owned by Norwegian. Unless you book an excursion through Norwegian, there's not much to do here, other than take a water shuttle to Placencia, which we did. I pre-booked a golf cart, which worked out well, as they were all sold out. We were able to tool around the island at our own leisure. Unfortunately, you only get 3 hours, as the shuttle can only hold so many people, and you can't have everyone waiting to get on the last boat, as there wouldn't be enough room for everyone....

Very disappointed. It has a beautiful pool but that's about it, unless you want to spend more money at shops. the sand is course at the beach and the water has zero visibility, worthless for snorkeling. Spent two hours here and returned to the ship

The worst stop ever, wish NCL had never even opened this private money pit. There's nothing good I can say about it. I know how much they spent on the project and believe me, the prices on the island reflect it!!!

NCL “owns” this island in that it’s their private island but every business there is owned and operated by native Belizians. This was apparently part of the agreement between NCL and Belize in order for them to have the private island here. The island itself is beautiful, and it has a nice beach, a massive pool with swim-up bar, a Landshark Bar & Grill, two other open air bars that are more “local” feeling, and many many places to get drinks and to go shopping. We did the zip lining out of the lighthouse which was great, then walked around through the wildlife sanctuary and spent the day drinking on the beach.

My husband splurged and rented a luxury villa. It was well worth it. One of the most amazing days of my life. Pure luxury and tranquility. A server brought us food and drinks all day. The unit was air conditioned, had wifi, a bluetooth speaker and indoor and outdoor showers. Really luxurious. No crowds. there are only 9 units.

Our excursions were cancelled due to weather. NO PRIOR NOTICE WHATSOEVER! NOT ALLOWED TO TRANSFER YOUR PORT-EXCURSION CREDIT !!! Terribly disappointing. This policy NEEDS to be revised ~ you’re they're for a very small amount of time & cannot control the weather. What’s the point of a port-excursion credit, when it’s so limited & not allowed to be used towards anything else?? Common NCL seriously?? Also, your key card cannot be used at this port for meals & drinks like Great Stirrup Caye! Everything is overpriced. Not impressed at all.

Amazing, though we did not do an excursion we did not need one. The pool in Harvest Caye was everything. The butterfly exhibit as beautiful along with the animals they had. The stores were enticing. This port was definitely our favorite because of the arrangement and environment of the entire port was almost like a huge resort.

We love Harvest Caye. It’s beautiful and safe and it’s wasn’t crowded at all. We love the pool. We rented a clamshell for 39.00 and it was a great place in the shade with some privacy. I know people complain because you have got purchase your food and drinks but we didn’t mind.
