I am currently on Royal Carribeans Rhapsody of the Seas Western Carribean Cruise. I am 38, I brought my parents in their mid 60s, my 17yo son and 13yo daughter. We were in grand Cayman 4/10/18. We took a smaller boat to the port (Tendering) process on our ship was quick. we had to wait for the people on the larger ships. I booked an excursion through "Shorefox" with Sotos Cruises. Our tender dropped us off on a dock labeled North so our instructions said to meet at the "Royal Watler Cruise Terminal. " took a bit to figure out we had to leave that pavilion where others got picked up. take a left about a block down the street and show our ship pass to get into the Watler Cruise terminal. there are shops and tons of people getting picked up for excursions. now some other boats tendered their passengers right into this terminal (ours just happen to drop us at the North). the instructions were to look for a colorful banner. it was a yellow square sign hanging on one of the tent posts. Kerry was pleasant and friendly. at first I was irritated about waiting for others but when I realized if we had been the late ones I really would have appreciated it. I was Leary because pur bus looked like one of the oldest and we filled like 17 people in. Drove maybe 10-15 minutes Max and got out and walk the length of a house to a dock. we got snorkels and flippers for our feet and got on a boat where they had juice and water available. We road out, past docks l, homes, ect into the more open water. when we stopped we could see the bottom white sand but it was 10feet deep. The offered life jackets to use to float which despite myself and my kids being excelent swimmers it was useful to be able to take photos. I had spent $5 on one of the cell phone lanyards that were water proof. (Best purchase) I could take beautiful under water photos). wish I had thought ahead and changed the settings to hit volume to take a pic because touchscreen was finicky at time. my parents used the life vests and the water was beautiful blue. colorful fish and coral at the bottom. then we got back on the boat for 5 minutes and were at the sandbar. I'm 5'2 and it was about waist-chest deep. and water as blue as the photos. kids were nervous about the stingrays. Guides were great. they went out and each had one and showed us how to touch/hold it. you didn't have to it was an option. which my son liked. he loved the water that he could be in but not actually touch them. there were about 6 boats of people but it was fantastic once in a lifetime experience. We had a fantastic time and well worth the $45 a person. and we were dropped off in time to catch a Taxi/van to Seven mile beach where we got dropped off where we could eat at a restaurant/ picnic tables with wifi. or just go straight into the beautiful water . there were a lot of people in the spot but it didn't matter it was that beautiful. Taxi was $5 PP each way and there were at least 5 at all times waiting to bring you back to the port. we had plenty of time to do the excursion and almost 2 hours at the beach. We were on the boat 30minutes prior to when they said the lasts tender would take people yo the ship. All agreed it was a great choice. Even my parents who were assisted in and put of the water making it great for all ages. there were babies on board with families and appeared to be quite pleased and happy.

My favorite stop so far. Did Moby Dick Tours excursion to Stingray City and snorkeling. Had a blast! The stingrays were beautiful. Even held and kissed one

My all time favorite destination outside of Hawaii. Very comparable to Hawaii life. The stingrays are the puppies of the sea and so incredibly amazing to interact with.

We did the dolphin excursion with the cruise .... great decision! Life time experience.. take your credit card to pay the photos, It’s a different company. Take your small camera or phone, you can’t take photos with the dolphins ( we bought those) but the sting grays were amazing, the water... the view...and people were taking pictures.

Very nice port super sweet people. My mom and I did the dolphin discovery royal package. We got to interact with 2 dolphins oh my this was so much fun they had a baby dolphin in there. The handler asked us not to pet the baby because mother Alma was protective naturally so. The baby kept coming up to where we were. There was a black ball close to him, so I being a kid at heart threw it and we were playing catch lol. When we rode back on the dorsal fins the dolphins swim close to you. It was so awesome to interact with these flippers lol. You can go to dolphin discovery.com they have one in Cozumel and other ports you may visit. You will find all kinds of packages here if the one I mentioned is too expensive they do offer transportation to and from port. Kids will love this! Highly recommend ok my chapter is over lol

Very beautiful island! We visited the turtle farm and stingray city. The turtle farm was very cool. Snorkeling there could have been better. It wasn’t kept as clean as I thought it should be. We also didn’t see as many turtles as we expected, but I heard others saying that they gathered by the back of the enclosure. Stingray city was such an awesome experience. I was skeptical with the amount of people there, but there was plenty of time to interact and no shortage of rays. They were everywhere once we started feeding them. The only problem was that some people start freaking out and moving almost knocking into other people and I was worried that someone might knock into me causing me to move and step on one. My main complaint about the island is that it’s a tender port and took forever to get back onboard.

It was a very cloudy day when we went but the rain held off for the most part. My coworker and I did the Deluxe Stringray and Sandbar for Familes excursion through Carnival. We met in the meeting area on the ship before being led to the tender boats. It was a short ride to George Town and then we walked over to the meeting spot on the island and checked in. Once it was time we took a short walk to a trolly bus which drove us to our boat. It was maybe a 10 minute ride to the boat. Then once on the boat we went to the sandbar. Although you can stand (I am 5'5 and the water came up to my chest) they do offer life jackets for children and adults. At no point was I in water I couldn't not stand up in. Now the waves tend to push you a lot which made things difficult for me to stand still. I spent a lot of time making sure I didn't step on the string ray near my feet. I got to hold (what I thought) a very large female sting ray and I fed her too. It was an exciting experience. Once we started feeding the female more sting rays started to swim up. We learned some fun facts about Stingrays and then after about 30-45 minutes we got back on the boat and headed back to the port area. After that we went to the Margaritaville in Grand Cayman for lunch. It was nice and a bit of a shocker to us that US money is worth less in Grand Cayman. After we ate we went back on the ship
