Beautiful port area. We did the Dreamer Catamaran snorkeling and Eco Tour. The staff on the boat were fantastic and we had a great first experience snorkeling. The Eco Tour was actually my favorite part- I am a science teacher and loved when the staff brought up a bunch of things from the water to show us and talked about conservation in Montego Bay. My husband had an iced coffee from Blue Mountain and said it was the best coffee he had ever had-we enjoyed listening to the band by the port as well. It was a really fun day!

This port has plus and minuses.... there’s not much really close to the dockside. You will have to travel away from the town to do most of the excursions. We did the dune buggies... TWICE! It took about a hour and a half to get to the location, but it was totally worth it. I would love to ride horses along the beach the next time we go there! That really looked like fun. Just a word of caution.... if the excursion takes more than three hours, your gonna have that much travel time to get to it.

We love going to Jamaica but everything is so far from Falmouth port. But when we go there we have always used Rosemarie Ellis to do excursions. She is so knowledgable and helpful picking out things to do. She always leaves us plenty of time to get back to the ship to walk around and shop. This year we went river tubing with Calypso Tubing, it was great. Rosemarie was $40 per person for the day to drive us around, tubing was $25 per person. After tubing we went to lunch for some authentic jerk at SCOTCHIES, always our favorite lunch stop in Jamaica. The only thing about the tubing was we all wished it was longer, about 45 min. Halfway down there is a stop in the middle of the trip, very cool spot we wish we knew about before hand because we only spent about 15 minutes here, had we known we would have planned on spending more of our time here. It’s like a little watering hole, small platform to jump off of into the water, a rope swing, few hammocks, a rustic bar with beer and mixed drinks, it was just beautiful. Sounds silly but we felt like we were in the Jungle, it was just breath taking. Definitely recommend doing this and hanging out at this spot if your looking for something different to do.

The port build in conjunction with the Jamaican government was filled with shops and local wares. Walking directly from the ship to the land was remarkable!

We did the Bob Marley tour, booked through the Celebrity cruises. It was a great way to see life in Jamaica, eat local food, and see a legendary place. Great memories and a wonderful time.

Shopping was what we did.

Heavy rains prevented our thorough enjoyment of this port. It was beautiful, but the excursion we chose took us too far away from the ship. We spent more time in a bus than we had hoped.
