Another beautiful island. We did the Day at the Beach tour. It was only three couples. If you like sun, food and some good Jamacian music I highly recommend this tour.

The secure area where the ships dock is fine for browsing tourist shops, but very little else. Venture outside the post gate at your own risk, it feels really unpleasant. Within a few paces we were approached by individuals offering unlicenced tours in taxis, trips to wherever we wanted to go and of course, drugs. Kept walking and politely refusing all offers, but then 5 more paces and you get approached by someone else, and so it goes on. Locals will try to engage by asking where you’re from, which ship are you on, what time to you sail etc. Just have to politely reply and stay friendly. Stay silent and ignore them and they get a bit louder. Didn’t hang around too long and made our way back to the safe confines of the secure port area. Expected more from Falmouth, but lesson learned that an organiser tour is best.

Go outside the gates, there is a great Jerk Restaurant in town Called "Pepper's" locals are extremely nice and police are everywhere. Everybody was willing to help us find our way.

If you are visiting Falmouth and want to buy jewellery, go to Jewels and Time. They were so helpful. My service Clerk was called Orville, he was friendly, happy and very patient,as I only went in to have a browse. Ended up buying a beautiful 5 stone diamond ring at a very reasonable price. I forgot about a certificate, after emailing them they have got back in touch to ask me to send a photo of said ring so they will email my certificate. Great after sales service.

We got of the ship here with no excursions planned. We left the port and where immediately met with people in our space trying to sell everything from small items to wanting to put braids in my beard to trying to sell us drugs. I understand that’s the way things are but me being a former police officer I was not comfortable, I would surest doing a tour or something booked through the ship. I will give the island another try .

This is a 2 part review. I loved Falmouth 4 stars for the port and the people there. This was our second time here and the first time was a 5 star experience but the second part of this review is for Blue water beach Club. This place SUCKED. First of all We were “tricked”into going there by the cab driver who got a kick back from the resort for brining us (I saw them pay her for bringing us). I asked To go to a beach that we visited the first time in 2013. She says “no that beach is way to busy. I got a great beach for you. Not busy at all” So I say okay let’s go. First thing was the cost to get into the beach.( I was traveling with 11 people) the beach I asked to go to was free. The driver never told me this one had a fee. Cost Me over $200 for the cab ride and beach fee for 11 people. But we’re are there may as well enjoy it. I couldn’t. The free beach I had been to a few years ago was beautiful. Clean sand, clear water, great music playing, but this place... The sand was dirty and hadn’t been raked in forever. the water was over run by sea weed. Beach was crowded and they were doing construction on a new hut so none stop banging and sawing. And the music. They played US top 20 music. We are in Jamaica and we’re listening to Chainsmokers and flo rid a. Where’s the Reggae? I am not a vacation snob. I loved every port in all of my 6 cruises and enjoy different experiences but this one was BAD. Note: I went in November but just now leaving this review because I forgot the name of this horrible place until I saw it on another person post and it refreshed my memory. Again to review Falmouth 4 🌟s Blue Water Beach Club 0 ⭐️s AVOID 🚫 Cab driver 0 ⭐️s ask questions before you agree to go.

Nice port has lots of shopping options. We didn’t leave the port. Went to margaritaville great drinks! Excellent patties and fresh coconut water! Free WiFi at margaritaville when you buy a drink or lunch.
