This was my favorite stop. So much to do at the port and then the excursions were amazing. We did the one that had green grotto caves and dunns river falls. The falls was amazing I would definitely do it again. People there were so nice. Irie mon!

This was our favorite stop! We spent the day at the Royalton White sands and had an amazing time swimming in the adults only pool, swimming in the stunning ocean, eating jerk chicken, and drinking bottomless drinks. The people there were so nice and energetic. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

We did an excursion through Patrice Bailey. She was excellent in helping arrange the details. Nicole greeted us at the pier and Chester Anderson was our driver and guide for the day. He was fantastic! He was very informative; took pictures of us on the Rio Bueno River Tubing Adventure. (Which by the way, was AWESOME thanks to our guide, Aret) We then spent several hours at Blue Water Beach Club where we were well taken care of. The food (grilled chicken sandwich) was really good and the beach is nice.

Margaritaville catamaran snorkel and beach break is fantastic. The crew on the Red Locks catamaran makes sure you have a great time. Awesome family friendly party.

Nice modern port. The drive from Falmouth to Ochoa Rios was long(approx. 55 minutes) but quite scenic. After all, when in Jamaica, you gotta go to Dunn’s River Falls!

The port is run by Royal Caribbean. It's clean and very well kept. Once you leave the port you are in Jamaica. We went to a local restaurant a few miles away (Rock Style Cafe), via taxi, very good food, very nice people.

We went on the Chukka Horseback Ride N Swim from the cruise line. We really enjoyed this excursion too! The busdriver was entertaining and gave us a little history as we drove to the tour. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable. The driver was a good driver. We got there and were matched up to horses and given a helmet to wear. We were offered a Jerk chicken meal for an additional price. We didn't purchase it, so I can't tell you if it was good. They also had mixed drinks and chips for sale and you could rent a locker for $5 if you needed it. The ride was in sun and also part shade on land. For the water part we changed horses fitted with special cushion seats and reins for the water. For the most part the horse will be able to reach the bottom. There was only a few moments the horse was swimming. There was a 7 year old girl who was in the group and she managed fine. The people who led the horses took special care with the little girl and led her horse into the water and stayed beside her. She was having a blast!

I was pleasantly surprised with this port. I was not enthused about going to Jamaica since I had originally picked a cruise without that port on the itinerary. But where we shopped there was not a lot of vendors walking up to you asking to braid your hair (as has happened on previous cruises). I found it clean, well maintained and a nice place. I did some shopping at Diamonds International and picked up some Tanzanite earrings and an Ammolite pendant.
