Chacchoben. If you can take a combo tour that includes Bacalar as well, do it. Other ruins either aren’t as good or are further away. Chacchoben also has monkeys in the trees on the path to the left near the temple. Very cool and something you wouldn’t see at Coba or Ek Balam, etc.

The Chacchoben ruins are the closest and they are nice- even if the temple isn’t as tall as some others. It’s a great place to see monkeys as there are a bunch of them in the trees on the trail to the temple. If you can get a tour that goes to both these ruins AND Bacalar even better. It depends on how much time you have in port. If you’re on a short time frame book through the ship to ensure proper return. If you have longer, book a private excursion ahead of time out of Mahajual.
