The weather was overcast and also rained on-and-off. This turned off my plan to head to the beach. Because of the rain, the deck was wet and I heard from a witness that there was an accident - an old lady felt down on the wet deck and she was sent to the island hospital for treatment. Ship left without her and her husband.

Walked around did a little shopping and walk over the floating bridge, people seemed very friendly. To be honest it was a visit just to say I was there.

We swam with the turtles. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and gave us good information about the island.

Been here before and its one of our favorites! The natives are what I call the friendliest in the Caribbean! But here we go with our excursion nightmare! We went on the electric bike tour and mangrove park excursion through Carnival It involved too many people not used to these bikes and when were taken through a crazy crowed part of Punta with 4 ships in port. We were literally dodging walking people and buses, cars and street poles ! It was dangerous for the pedestrians and the cyclists 🚴♂️ 😳! My wife crashed and hurt her elbow and ankle 😢 we had a dnf but the trail attendant did everything he could do to help us and summonsed a bus to pickup our bikes and us and brought us back to Vista. I have ridden dirt bikes all my life and this was more dangerous than that. Carnival did send a security team to our room and made an incident report out and we recieved a full refund ! It started out with an almost a mile walk from the ship to the bike location then by reports of nearly a 25 mile treck on these bikes back after dodging people and vehicles then to a beach for drinks and a swim our friends said they felt like they were in a triathlon. So think about this excursion because it's not for most people.

Rented a car, easy and was provided with GPS plus cell phone. Recommendations were made by car rental and that was good. I have to say this is my least favorite island, been here 2x. Beautiful buildings but people are not helpful at all! I'm not talking about in one place, but everywhere on the island. We did stop at a local restaurant suggested for us. Food was good and they were friendly but everyone else was very unfriendly and not helpful. Tourism helps your economy and you only hurt yourself

This port is beautiful. We took an unscheduled tour all around Curaçao and the sights and views were breathtaking, Mambo beach was one of the most beautiful I have seen. Would definitely like to return here.
