One of my favorite ports of call for sure. Everything is a little tight initially getting off and out of the city, but this is an island with some breathtaking features. Maho Beach is a little small and crammed but is still an incredible experience. Don’t miss the sunsets either.

Toured through Bernard Tours. Went around entire island in large van w ac. Two beach stops and photo opps in French Capital. Driver very knowledgeable. They provided rum punch and soft drinks throughout the journey. Beautiful Island. Nice people. Very scenic.

We got a taxi to take us to the "Butterfly Farm" where we had a guided tour. Then the taxi took is to "Loterie Farms" and took a self guided hike and tour. We could have gone on a zipline, swimming, or ate at the restaurant also. It has many great things to do for a whole day.

Didn't care for the pushy people on the dock trying to sell us cab rides, tours, hair braiding, etc...Once we got through that crowd we enjoyed the town very much. We really liked our tour of the island including Maho Beach. Our tour driver was quite funny and very informative.

Very interesting island. Toured both Dutch and French side with shoreexcursioneer. Stopped at Orient and Maho beachs. Orient about 70 percent recovered from hurricane. Maho very very crowded with 4 other ships in port. Did get a picture of large plane landing over beach. Check off bucket list. Did not get to shop downtown because long tour annd earily departure.

We took a catamaran snorkeling excursion thru the ship and it was very good. We got to see a bunch of the island while sailing. And could easily see a bunch of damage from the hurricanes of 2017. We did not get into Philipsburg but heard that a lot of stores were not open.

We really wanted a tour and to see Maho Beach. We had a tour on an air conditioned van that we picked up just pass the exit toward downtown. You can contact him: Rudy tours and photography. Only the three of us for $30 each. He gave us a wonderful tour (could be 2-3 hours) if both sides, stopping at Maho Beach for about 30 minutes. It was perfect. Maho Beach is hot and full sun and very crowded, but worthwhile. Rudy knee when the planes would be active.
