We had a great time at Mullet Bay. This beach was one down from the popular Maho Beach where the planes land directly above you. We caught a local bus from downtown Phillipsburg that only cost $2 a person one way (much cheaper than the cabs). Mullet Bay was a beautiful beach. Only downside was it didn't have any public restrooms.

Water taxis will bring you to a small beach. $7 RT. There are a lot of shops 1 block back.

Took a water taxi to closest beach (not Maho beach) and staye there for hours. Hot sun, refreshing ocean water and plenty of shops along boardwalk

First time on this island. It still had a lot of storm damage but the shopping was great. don't need to go back.

Took Jeep 4x4 excursion - $200 is expensive for us but well worth it. got 6 1/2 hours of touring the island and got to see everything in one! all the other excurions only take you to 1-2 places. got to spend a good amount of time everywhere. GORGEOUS!

Hubby and I stayed on board. The kids and grands did tour with 2 beach stops. They had a really good time at Frigate Bay beach.
