Went ashore for about an hour to price perfume then back on ship and to the pool. My perfume was too pricey....I can buy it online for a much lower price.

One of my favorite ports!!!!! We went to orient beach. It wasn’t crowded. The sand and water was so perfect. You can rent nice chairs with cushions. The bar/grill there is very nice with great drinks and was just beautifully built and pleasing to sit/look at. I felt truly at peace here. There are normal bathrooms steps away from the water right next to the bar so it wasn’t a troop to find the bathroom. This is a clothing optional beach. Great time here. The taxi ride here was also pretty cool to see the surrounding towns. We drove past many herds of sheep on the way.

I went to Maho beach a couple of years ago and thought it was so cool. I even acted like a idiot(against my wife's wishes) and stood against the fence while planes where taking off. Its like being poked by a million needless at once as the sand gets blown at you. But I just had to do it a few times. Sunset bar was nice to hang out at while waiting for planes. But my concern now is whether or not sunset bar is still around after the hurricanes and if planes are still flying in. This year we are bringing the kids and I wanted them to experience the low planes right over the beach

We plan on going back to airport beach in 2019..... is it open again? Would like to see the planes over head again it was the best thing I ever seen! Last time we went was I think 2 years ago and we loved it! It was the best of all the islands we went to!

It's a most beautiful Island the best part for me was when you see the courthouse with the palm trees lined up to the courthouse it was just amazing I'm very friendly people

Best thing if you want the beach. ....walk to town. ..every storefront offers beach chairs and an umbrella and a bucket of beer for about $30. Cheapest way to go. Also, more jewelry stores than people here. Duh......

This will be my first time here. I have been reading all the post and reviews so are good and some not so good. We will not be doing any excursion. But I hope to still have a good time.

We are sailing in one week and are looking for recommendations for a beach experience. Is it better to go through RC or through a third party? Did anyone do the great bay beach experience? Thanks.

We booked a private tour which was really a taxi driver on his time off driving us around giving us the history. But it was fun! Although next time since I got the history I would go directly to Marigot for shopping and pastries and to Bikini Beach.
