Took taxi from port ($8 per person each way) to Maho Beach (@30 min ride), entertaining driver (except when I had to shut him down for trying to sell my 18 & 20yr old boys weed)- we were able to get chairs along the beach at one of the bars & had a fantastic & relaxing time- favorite place!

Went to Maho Beaxh and Orient Beach. Both were very clean and nice. Loved them both.

We hit up the Flying Dutchman zip line. Its was awesome you can see the whole island from up there.. Its a total of 5 zip lines with the Dutchman being the finale. Look it up online.

Loved loved and loved this port! We have talked about going back here just to visit the island for longer than a day. We had a busy day here. We took a 3 hour tour of the French and Dutch side. You can still a lot of damage from hurricane but it is still a lovely place. We visited Orient beach on the French side, Maho beach ( airplane beach) on the Dutch side. On our tour they did take us by the nude beach(French side) in which if you have young kids you may want to ask to skip this stop. Our guide told us after the hurricane it is not what it use to be. You can tell they are still recovering from damage here. We took a taxi from Maho Beach to boardwalk. Here they have a beach, shopping, and restaurants. We ate at Lazy Lizard and loved it!! This is walking distance from the cruise ship or you can take a $3 taxi or the water taxi back to ship.

We loved the three Island speed boat tour. The water is beautiful and we enjoyed the snorkeling and feeding the iguanas.

BEWARE OF DOING ANY ACTIVITY BY RENTING FROM THE LOCALS!! Our son and daughter rented ATV’s for the day. Our daughter damaged the mirror on hers and they transferred her to a room, where a lady threw her down, and they demanded $500 cash before she would be released and her Sign and Sail card returned to her. We had less than 20 minutes to go get her. She was traumatized by all of this and spent most of the remaining trip in bed. I’m sure this is a normal occurrence by lots of these people and a quick way to make a buck. Talked to others on the ship after this happened and similar experiences had happened to them before. Lesson learned...ONLY BOOK EXCURSIONS THROUGH YOUR CRUISE LINE, NOT THIRD PARTY CROOKS!!
