This was our first trip to Bonaire but we are already planning a way to get back soon. Very laid-back, low-key island with tons of things to do. We booked our own excursion and had the time of our lives aboard the Lady Bellais, a beautiful Brazilian Schooner. Best snorkeling and rope swing experience ever. Plus, open bar with adult and soft drinks the entire voyage. Included with our voyage fare was a delicious Caribbean lunch. (www.ladybellais.com)

I opted not to do an underwater excursion and go to a beach instead. Even though I have done many excursions before, Bonaire is known more for their water activities. So I'd recommend that instead.

Beautiful town. We just walked around the streets and had ice cream at Luciano which I definitely recommend. Then we snorkeled right next to the ship which was very convenient.

This was our favorite. We are currently planning a trip back to stay on the island. We rented a off road golf cart. We did both the north and southern parts of the island.

We really enjoyed the beach and got to see the salt flats and some flamingos, too!

Bonaire is a fine port, but lacks any real facilities near the ship dock and while the snorkeling was great I would only do an excursion here and not solo-snorkeling. The Samur Snorkel and Beach Break staff was excellent and we had so much fun! Pretty strong rum punch, be careful 😂
