Love this port. We rented golf carts through Bonaire Crusiers and explored the island ourselves.

Did another ship tour that took us to the Salt Flats, Willemstoren Lighthouse, Slave Huts and saw many flamingos and wild donkeys… tour made many stops so you could take pictures . Then we stopped at Sorobon Beach for 2 hours, which was gorgeous and you could wade out 1/2 a mile and were only up to your waist. The only downside was a chair was provided but umbrellas were few and it was very hot. … finally got shade under a palm tree. Could get drinks and food there too.

The water is beautiful but there is nothing there and the restaurant close early. It was pointless to be there for 13 hrs.

Not my favorite. Read all the hype about Eden beach and it wasn’t what I wanted. There wasn’t a beach, just rocks… great for snorkeling, but didn’t want to risk falling. I wanted a sandy beach, this wasn’t it.

We toured the Southern half of Bonaire. the beach drop off was optional so we did not stay. Again, it was too hot. I enjoyed touring the island and stopping for pictures. We were allowed to bring back salt that is mined on the island.

No excursion but got of the boat and had a bus take us around the island and to the beach. Not much of a beach only 2 feet deep. Clear water beautiful water. Would have been a good place to do some snorkeling.
