Did not get on the island as we took the catamaran trip to Bat cove. A nice trip, the boat captain & crew was great.

Nothing. Sunday in Martinique is wasted. Because it is French-Catholic everything was closed. No taxis to beaches, etc. A total waste of a day. No one spoke any English and didn't care to be helpful. Not a stop that I would recommend.

Didnt do a tour stayed around port. Looked through the shops and sat at the beach. Heard the ice cream was soo good. Someone in our group went to a local restaurant for a beer. And was told before leaving to be careful.

look out the French will rip you off. They have European prices for everything with a third world accommodation and service.

This was our first visit to this port and we didn't plan an excursion. We walked around down town, a vibrant mix of tourists and locals. Lots of local shops, restaurants and bar options. Clean and friendly port.
