As we have been on a few cruises, we usuall walk out to the dock and search for a local taxi and take a tour of the island with a group of people. After such an experience in Barbados, I believe it is best to book a tour with the ship. As for restaurants, we are avid believers that the best restaurant is aboard the Crown Princess. We usually work our tours around dining hours which is not a problem on the Crown, Just think of the Horizon "the 24 hour buffet."

This was our very favourite stop. We went to the Boatyard and had a marvellous day at the beach. Got to snorkel and see the stingrays, ship wreck, and giant turtles. Water was the prettiest of colours and the beach was awesome.

My only feedback is that Boatyard just like the name says, is for Boat, please if you are looking for a quiet place to swim, don't go to Boatyard. Reasonably priced.
