We unfortunately had a little rain at Barbados. We did a fun catamaran cruise to snorkel with the sea turtles, but could not snorkel because of the weather. The cruise was still fun and the captain pointed out some points of interest along the coastline. We then went to the Hilton in Barbados for lunch and to stroll around the beach, nice resort and all the beaches are public in Barbados!

We got off the ship and grabbed a taxi. The people at the taxi hub were super helpful in guiding us to the perfect beach and the driver was nice. We went to Harbor Lights in Carlisle bay. The sand was beautiful! Pink, soft, perfect! We paid $10 a chair and stayed there all day. They had bar service with drinks and food so we never had to leave if we didn’t want to. And, we saw two giant starfish just off the beach! I would go back to Barbados in a heartbeat!!!

The cab drivers at the port have a deal with the establishments on Carlisle Bay. They will be rude to you if you want to go to another beach. They tried to persuade us to go to go Carlisle Bay, after 20 minutes, they finally took us to Brandon's Beach. It was so peaceful and quite. In the afternoon we went on a snorkel charter with Barbados Blue. It was top notch and we saw many turtles. The shipwrecks were amazing to see.

Beaches beaches beaches !!! The best beaches around. Gorgeous white sand and clear water. Plenty of activities or just suntan the day away. If you want to sit near the beach at a Bar, they got plenty of those too. Barbados should be your BEACH Day!!

I am a bit biased toward Barbados only because I have been here before and I absolutely love Barbados. Again, it did not disappoint, it was lovely, we went to Pirate's Cove which is about an 8min drive via taxi. They have a taxi stand right outside the port which seemed to be very organized and safe. Some beaches via taxi can range from $2-$5 depending on how far you travel. We paid $5pp and $15 for an umbrella on the beach and we had lunch there as well for $10pp which was a small buffet style which was pretty good as well. We saw some horses swimming in the water and we had a great time!

We booked a Barbados excursion to swim with Sea Turtles, snorkel and spend the day at the beach through a non-Carnival excursion group that offered a lower price. We saw two shipwrecks, two turtles, several large stingrays, fish and enjoyed a free Rum-punch drink on our excursion. We were provided with beach chairs and an umbrella and enjoyed a beautiful day in a safe, roped off area of gorgeous blue-green, calm water by the beach. The people of Barbados were really nice. The people selling goods on the beach explained that they were required to be licensed and they were not overly pushy. Drinks were served on the beach by servers. Restrooms and a shower were available.
