Hi all, how close are these beautiful beaches to where the ship docks? I vaguely remember a very long walk from where the ship docked to the local town back in 2015 but not much of a beach as we walked up? Best Beach- distance? Thanks in advance

It was pouring down rain much of the time but excellent the same. They have top knotch security and the excursion we took was amazing. Great crew and knowledgeable. Snorkeled with the turtles in the rain! Hope to return to Barbados to explore more of the island and learn the culture!

Went to Harbor Lights in Carlisle Bay. The beach is amazing (the softest sand anywhere), but Harbor Lights was a shell of what it once was (very little staff and no attention to the customers on the beach). I guess we'll try The Boat Yard next time.

Barbados is amazing - we took a taxi tour and ended up in Bridgetown where we had lunch overlooking the Parliament building. Will definitely go again, and probably visit the caves.

No excursions did own thing, this time we travelled midweek so able to get and see more as things open as opposed to a Sunday arrival!
