We did the beach excursion. It was excellent! On the ride there, our driver stopped at the iconic spot where you can see both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It was beautiful! Amazing view! A few local vendors were set up here trying to sell souvenirs and drinks. There was even a fellow with a monkey and a donkey who wanted $ to take a picture with them in this iconic spot. From here, we were driven to a secluded beach with a direct view of sister island Nevis. The beach was amazing! Local women were walking around offering massages with island aloe. One approached me with the biggest aloe frond I have ever scene! While a bit pushy, she was friendly and politely kept her distance when I declined. The beach bar offered local craft beers and mixed drinks. There was a small giftshop here as well.

St. Kitts was my personal favorite I think. We took a cab from the port to Cockleshell Beach. Our driver, Adonis, was very professional and knowledgeable about the island. He took us to a spot on the way to the beach that had a great view and photo op spot. On the beach they had people going around giving aloe vera massages that my wife and I took part in. Her and our daughter also got their hair braided. On the beach was a restaurant called the Spice Mill. Food was very good, but there were a lot of flies. If we ate closer to the outside where there was more wind it wouldn't have been as bad. It didn't ruin my time there though at all.

We did the catamaran sail and snorkel! Our first time and it was a blast. The guys who run this made the day. The only thing I would recommend is investing in your own snorkel mask and tube (about $25). Not sure these are cleaned between users. Beautiful weather, beautiful fish, good punch, great day!

We chose to venture off on our own. We walked around the city, but stayed close to the dock. We saw some very neat things.

We had the greatest tour guide, Pastor Henry William, whose knowledge of the island was extensive. We booked the Grand Island Tour with Grey's Island Tours through Trip Advisor and included an a time at the beach. In our group only a young couple did the beach the rest of us elected to return to the ship. ThHill a site of interest to anyone with a bent towards military history was great. It did entail a significant number of steps uphill to the fort. The Wingfield Estate with beautiful gardens was a tranquil respite.

We did the swim with the dolphins. This was a great excursion. The trainers were great and they took great care of the dolphins.
