I did do a bus excursion around the island. I was not impressed. It seemed they took us to all the poor parts of town to show how bad it was. They sped past the nice stuff. Took us to a park for drinks at a hut type building and smoke break. They did talk about the buildings and why they were like they were and that’s about it. The port was ok.

Loved this country! So beautiful. We did a 3 hour taxi open air tour (not part of the ship) they drove us around and told us about the area and took us to garden bay beach for just over an hour. Another stunning beach! We would have loved to stay at this port longer! The tour then takes you back to the port.

It's okay - we didn't wander outside the cruise port but the shopping at the terminal area was good.

Did the Tortola by land and sea excursion. A good choice as it allows you to see the island without having to drive it yourself. When it comes to motion sickness the high seas have nothing on the roads of Tortolla. They do offer a lot of scenic outlooks both overlooking the town and neighbouring islands. The switch from the road part of the trip to the sea part is a bit weird. You just get dumped at a marina with a few shopping locations and told a boat will be there in 30 minutes to an hour. The sea portion was entertaining with stories about the island and lots of joking around.
