We went on the excursion to the baths. The boat ride over was horrible, fumes all the way, on the way back same thing, and they had 2 extra people, 2 people had to sit on steps. The ride to the baths in the trucks was awful, crammed tight, couldnt even sit with knees in front of you. Dont use speedys transport. The baths themselves were very cool , must see, but get there on your own. or with a different transport. or excursion.

Was a small port, did not book an excursions because we didn’t want to feel rushed. Ask for directions to the ferry to get passport stamped and shop from locals, not the shops right at the port.

It was an easy walk from the ship to the port. Shops were the usual. Went to Long Bay Beach by taxi which were all located right outside the port. Journey took about 25 minutes, so you get see a little more of the island, along the coastal road. Rented beds and umbrella for $20 - beautiful beach, stayed there all day!

I feel sorry as they are still recovering from hurricanes and a lot of areas looked like a war zone. Not much to see in town. But beautiful beaches and lots of transport options to get there. The nicest part of town were the touristy shops next to cruise ship terminal. The museum was still closed from hurricane.
