what a waste of time.. wish they docked at the NCL private island instead. Do no waste your $$$ on land tours.. there's nothing to see! take a cab to the beach instead which supposedly was only $6!

the beach was wonderful but the island itself is dumpy and looks like a slum in many places. Our cab driver was horrible.

We walked along the waterfront towards some shops but it was too hot to continue. We didn't see anything impressive, but didn't go far.

It’s been almost 10 years since I was there, but it was gorgeous when we went. They had a lot more local handcrafted items too and not just the “same crap, different port” stuff which was nice. Hopefully I can go back soon!

Didn't do an excursion, just wandered around. Fun souvenir shops. There's a Chinese restaurant right outside the fence that may not look like much, but the shrimp fried rice was amazing.

Although we did not do a shore excursion on Tortola, we enjoyed browsing the island shops and watching the beautiful yachts come and go.
