7/10 pretty good. We didn't do an excursion this island, but we grabbed a tour bus guide and hopped on. Definitely, if you're not doing an excursion, find a tour guide and let him give you a tour. It's very nice. Anyway, the island itself is okay. You can go to Maegan's bay or up the Mountain, but that's about it. There's a great gift shop on the mountain top though that sells banana daiquiris (alcoholic or virgin). They're SO GOOD! You have to have one.

We found an open air bar in an alley to hang out at during shopping in 2004. Was a beautiful and lovely place. We didn’t venture far from the ship though. Praying for the people as they are recovering from the hurricanes.

Port is large. Yes we did an excursion. We did the underwater scooters. It was amazing.

Always LOVE this island. Used to live here and hated moving back to the mainland. Went to our favorite beach, COKI BEACH!!!! yay. There were 27 of us and we all went there.

Love this island and we typically go to Megans Bay... Don't let people fool you into believing that it's always packed.... You have to pay to enter as it's a state park so not alot of people go there for that reason....

We liked St Thomas. It was beautiful and clean - the people were very friendly. We wanted to go to Magen's Beach, so we caught a taxi at the pier and paid $8/ea to take the 20 minute ride to the beach. It cost $5 to get into the beach park. We chose to just lounge on the beach with our towels, but there were lounge chairs and other amenities for rent as well as a restaurant. The beach was nice but the water was colder than we expected (it is the Atlantic side of the island vs the port side on the Gulf of Mexico and also the day was partly cloudy). There were bathrooms as well. There was a designated area for taxi pickup for a ride back to the port and there were plenty of taxis waiting when we wanted to go back. If we go back, we would probably choose a different beach to visit on the Gulf of Mexico side.
