We went to Water Island about 6 (?) years ago. You take a taxi over to the water taxi terminal, which is just on the other side of the cruise port area of the bay. The water taxi ride is only about 10 minutes or so. Then you walk up a small hill along the road to get to Honeymoon Beach. It’s beautiful, but very shallow calm water. It’s mostly for laying around, tanning, having a leisurely drink. You can do a search and it will bring up pictures and detailed directions on getting there.

I rode ferry over few years ago. Get off ferry, walk over hill. You will see beach just below you. I was able to get a free chair. I got there early. Few hours of quiet. Then catamaran would come with cruise excursion, stay a bit leave and another would show up. Enjoyed my day there.
