I was a bit disappointed in the fact that the water was very rocky to get in and out of. The clamshell set ups on the beach in front of all the other chairs took away from the view .. food was ok but lots of flies. I liked half moon cay much more.

Loved this port. Rented a private bungalow for the day. Would have liked it if we had longer stay but still enjoyed it to the fullest.

Loved the clean clear beach, people were friendly but, take cash so that you can help island people by shopping in their stands.

The private islands are money makers for the cruise lines. The beach was ok and not too crowded. The BBQ lunch was basic burgers and dogs. If you want to swim or do an excursion go ashore if not stay on the ship. We did the Dune Buggy excursion and it was fun. The cost ($175) was high but we going to see some of the island that most people don't get to see and toured ruins of a lighthouse and a church with the guide giving us the history of Eluthera .

Totally relaxing day at Princess Cay! Definitely reserve a clamshell since there is very little shade. It is such a reasonable price and provides a nice "home base" for the day. My only negative is that they only stayed until 3:00 and the bar closed even earlier than that at 1:30!

Rented two cabanas this year. Again, nervous after the mixed reviews. They give you floats, snorkel gear, food, drinks, towels, chairs. The Cabana has AC, plugs, a fridge, a table with 4 chairs, 4 loungers and umbrella. On the cruise, you get to pick your cabana. Pick 8, 9, or 10. Close to bathrooms, bar and steps to a great little beach, with Sandy bottom, snorkeling, and not far from lunch. So glad we did it. They drove us there in a golf cart and we stayed all day, since we could get the kids some relief from the heat and sun throughout!

Private island is expensive. Bring your own snorkel mask! Buy things from the locals. One was able to monogram something for a friend of mine and they are amazing 😉! I didn’t do an excursion here.
