Just got back from a short cruise on Mariner of the seas, with a stop at Coco cay. This is my new favorite stop on a cruise. Beautiful island, awesome amenities, huge pool, and fun swimup bar. So much to do and enjoy. The beach was slightly rocky... soft sand but with tiny shells and pebbles mixed in. Not so bad you can't walk across it barefoot, but also not comfortable either. Would recommend good sandals or water shoes. Can't wait to go back in September.

Best part of the cruise. Wish we could have spent another full day there. Beautiful beaches, great food, unbelievable fresh water freeform pool with massive swim up bar. So many loungers with umbrellas there was no problem getting a spot anywhere. Also loved the floating bar. Saw some sharks and stingrays so I had to stay longer and drink more. 😳

Perfect Day at CoCo Cay was awesome! Our son said he wanted to live there. It was definitely worth the money and it’s great that food and drinks (if you have the drink package) are still included. Everything seemed very safe and well monitored.

The island was absolutely beautiful and the musicians were fantastic. We danced on the sand, snorkeled and swam, and my kids went to the water park. Two suggestions: Improve efforts to protect the environment. Educate people about protecting the fish, the water and use biodegradable cups at the food area. I would like to see much more education for passengers about eco-friendly practices regarding types of sunscreen, lotion, litter, cigarette butts and practices that would make our time less polluting to the environment.

Didn’t do any payed activities. I enjoyed lounging on the beach. I preferred it before it was “perfect day” the tacos were really good and I think the food was better than what was on the ship.

I’ve always booked cruises in the past based on the features/class of ship and dates. Coco Cay changed all that. I’m full on addicted to this destination after just one visit. I now look for CocoCay cruises first all other aspects are secondary.

The major renovation on Coco Cay is impressive! There is something for everyone on this island! We enjoyed the hot air balloon ride and all of the water slides before eating lunch and then heading over to Chill Island. Chill Island is the more quiet beach area of Coco Cay. There are plenty of beach loungers to relax on and shallow waters to wade through. We found a conch and a variety of fish without the snorkel gear. The staff are incredibly friendly and there are a lot of activities to choose from on Coco Cay!
