Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas Port Reviews

The island was pretty but we had issues. We rented a cabana and when we arrived no one could tell us its location or even bothered to show us where it was located. The same experience on other cruise lines is they will escort you to your cabana and ask if there is anything you need so I was very surprised in how they handle the rentals. Once we finally did find the cabana after walking around for a long time we had to evict trespassers who were in it. The furniture in the cabana was worn broken and dirty.

Very nice…was pleasantly surprised.

Not good service at the island. No towels for the chairs, they offered me dirty towels, because they didn’t had clean towels. Food truck food was awful, they didn’t had all the food available, no French fries, very limited food. I’m a Royal Caribbean fan, so compared with MSC everything was very poor. Service, food, entertainment was very bad. Don’t go, was my first time in MSC and last one. Horrible experience

The Lagoon is always calm waters. If you enjoy snorkeling or just swimming I’d recommend the Lagoon beach. It’s near the food and the bathroom. Such a beautiful place to relax.

We arrived around noon, and an all aboard by 4:15. While there isn't a lot to do on this island, the lounging around time could have been longer. They also did not provide food service on the island. It's not like it was a real long cruise to get there. And, given the embarkation experience, they could have provided more time.

A beautiful little island. However, it rained all day so all excursions were cancelled.

Ocean cay didnt have much to do besides swimming

Unfortunately, was very windy the day we were there, but love the island. There are food trucks around the island and a buffet.(not sure why someone said no food, not accurate) The food in the yatch club areas was excellent (we were not in Yatch club this trip)
