Loved Great Stirrup Cay. This was our second time on this itinerary and our first time on the island and we loved it. We took our time on the ship and did not rush to get over to the island. You can pre book tenders for any time before 11. We waited till about 11:05 and tendered over with no waits at all. Most of the chairs at the first few beaches were all full but they have been expanding the island and there are now 4 beaches plus and ample chairs. We found some close to the water at the third beack between the two beach bars. There are a variety of places to get food and drink scattered throughout the island and over all it was a great experience. There are some nice shops (sort of like a small straw market) to the right as soon as you get off the tender. We went there first then went and had something to eat in a nice shaded shelter and after a drink of three found some nice beach chairs and enjoyed. The food was basic but good. BBQ ribs and burgers, jerk chicken with rice and peas, hotdogs, sausages and a variety of salads and lots of fruits and deserts.

Loved the Island. No port docking, need to take a tender boat over to the island. Yes, for the excursion, we rented a large cabana for the day for 8 people - so worth it! Fruit plate and some other menu items were available to order. After a few thunder storms and some rain, the weather cleared. The water was beautiful. You could rent paddle boards, kayaks or snorkel. There was a BBQ with the usual hamburgers and hot dogs. Food was ok. Overall great day!

It took us nearly 3 hours to get off of the ship. They use tender boats at this location and call by number. They were only loading one boat at a time for 5000 people. We didn’t get onto the island until around 130 and had to be back NLT 530. There is only a small sand beach which is way over crowded. The rest is mostly rock debris. The island is huge, they need to do a better job and build it up.

Very nice island. Clean great beach. Lots of things too choose from. Cabana for the day is great no worries about getting a chair you can hide from the sun for a little bit if needed. Wave runners, parasailing, music,a few souvenir shops, snorkeling, safe, in my opinion the best port

Plenty of loungers, even sharing with another ship. They have tons of burgers, hot dogs and other food available around the island, also. Drinks and food are included (drinks if you have the Unlimited Beverage Package), which is nice while you lay around on the beach. The entrance is a bit drab and looks a bit industrial but it's a brief view and you're back to paradise.

Did not get to go due to high winds. Super bummed. We had a cabana reserved and we were excited to go. Have heard that they miss this port a lot due to no pier. Maybe they should build one!
