Weather was iffy, so town did not show to advantage. Also, it was a holiday so many shops were closed. I have been there before on a nicer day.

Walked around on our own. Really clean and cute town.

We took the Anne of Green Gables tour booked thru cruises.com. Very good tour leader. Best excursion (for us) of the cruise. Tour leader recommended a simple restaurant where we had a lobster roll and PEI mussels.

We rented a car again as we felt the excursion options were too high and not what we wanted. We did a fishing trip on the east side of the island. Wish we would have had more time. Again, lovely area. Not touristy.

The port was great with quite a bit of shopping at docks and short walk to town - easy off/on. The town and outlying areas are quaint and beautiful with lots of history and sights. We did a provate tour and loved it.

Very knowledgeable bus guide. Visited beautiful beachfront and "Anne of Green Gables" site. Would recommend.

PEI is an easy port to self-sightsee. Short walk to restaurants and shops. If you are an ice cream lover, a visit to Cow’s Creamery is a must!
