Love this city
by SusanCruzin
What a delightful place! We did an independent excursion of the city that was great. The last time we were here we visited the home of Anne of Green Gables which was charming.

Saw on our own. Few excursions, the one we wanted sold out. Not too interesting.

Eat the lobster and mussels.

Everything went well getting off the ship. The city is right there making it easy to walk about. Queen St is the main shopping street. Plenty of historical homes with informative plaques.

We hired a private car to drive out to see this port and had a great lunch at the pier before heading out, had a great day

long journey to destination but Ann of Green Gables site was worth seeing

We really enjoyed our excursion to the Anne of Green Gables site along with a ride around the countryside. We were surprised to learn there are 30 golf courses. We would have enjoyed playing in this beautiful location. It might be hard to get 18 holes in ( although other excursions were 7 hours) but there was definitely time for 9 holes and a quick lunch.
