Beautiful, quaint town. Nice to walk around and get something to eat. We rented e-bikes to ride through Acadia National Park. Great experience

I was extremely disappointed during my port stay here and it wasn't NCL's fault at all. Bar Harbor is a tender port and the morning we arrived was enveloped by very thick fog, so the tenders couldn't operate until it cleared. I had booked an excursion to Acadia National Park with local company Olli's Trolley, whom I was constantly on the phone with explaining the situation and after receiving guarantees that they knew what was happening with the fog and the tenders and were told to just check in when we got off the tender, we were told that our tickets had been sold to other people due to us not showing up and that was that. They did not offer additional departures, nobody wanted to take responsibility for what I was told by phone. There were no options for visiting Acadia National Park AT ALL. No taxis, no Uber/Lyft, no rental cars (there was also the Disney Magic ship with us), NOTHING. All we could do is eat a lobster roll and walk around. I really wanted to visit Acadia National Park and I was incredibly disappointed. I recommend you do NOT delay in booking and excursion with the cruise line if you want to visit Acadia National Park, since I understand that booking with a private company is a gamble.

Port way toooooooo commercial. Town has been spoiled by cruise industry. Acadia Nat Park way too crowded; late fall, weekend, spectacular weather made for too many people.

Excursion was cancelled while we were waiting for Tender. Did not have time enough to rebook a tour to Acadia. Not much to do but eat lobster rolls without a tour.
