We did the cycle tour in the morning. Two people dropped out because they were expecting e-bikes but found the experience amazing. A couple a steepish sections but not too long a drag. We also learnt about history and nature on the tour. Around 7 miles in total.

The day we were there it was so foggy that our tenders had to convoy back and forth with a local boat leading. Our tour of Acadia National Park was limited because of the fog. However, we saw a large pond created by beavers who live there. Thunder Hole was exciting with high water due to Hurricane Ernesto far south. We had a good driver/guide who made the tour interesting even though we couldn't see anything from Cadillac Mountain.

Quaint town but no taxi or ride share service available to get to Acadia NP. We ended up renting one of the little electric "ATVs" and made it work. Also a tender port, which we understand always takes much longer, but it didn't feel well organized.

Didn't have great weather but really enjoyed walking through town. Would love more time here so you can really see Acadia.

Beautiful port. Got to take a tour bus excursion. I'm sure some people like that sort of thing, I found out I do not. We drove through Acadia as fast as we could. Got to the top of the one mountain, got off in time to use the toilet and buy a postcard and then had to race back to the bus. The tour guide kept pointing out interesting things to look at and then we'd fly right past them. Wouldn't even pull into a lookout area so we could move to one side of the bus to get a picture. He kept saying " get your camera ready" there wasn't time. Even if it was ready, it wouldn't have been in focus. This could have been because of how late everything was getting started, but I really didn't like it. The place itself was beautiful. We ate lobster roll at an over priced (sit down) restaurant. It was meh. Bought some trinkets and got a tender back to the ship.

Beautiful and another one of our favorites.

The whale watching excursion was disappointing. For what we experienced it was not worth spending 6 hours 50-70 miles in the Atlantic Ocean. The wife used the multiple vomit bags, even wearing sea sick ear tabs and took dramamine. As far the best experience for us was to eat lobster at West St. Cafe. This was the best lobster experience we ever tasted.

Did not do much in the city, as we had visited Bar Harbor many times before.

Getting off the ship was a mess. It's like they don't know how to do it, the lines were a mess and everyone was confused. Not enough staff to help organize.

A very nice port; but I don't understand why they're trying to limit the number of cruise ships that visit them. Cruises do not increase vehicle traffic, just buy food and souvenirs...
