Wonderful little shops. Had a fabulous lunch at the Thirsty Whale - highly recommend.

We did not go on an excursion. We lost about two hours of shore time trying to disembark and tender to the main land. Bar Harbor is a beautiful town!

Self tour of Bar Harbor. This is an easy navigable port and easy to walk around for dining/shopping/sight seeing.

The shops are cute, and the restaurants at the port are pretty good, but don’t waste your money on an excursion here. It was a total waste of time.

Bar Harbor is charming but pricy. A lobster roll is $25. I got a couple of Pandora charms right in the port, which were lovely. The Acadia Park is enormous and has beautiful views. We took a 2.5 hour trolley ride for $53. I am not sure if it was worth it. Originally, we were scheduled to do the whale watching tour, which was cancelled to our regret.

Great Port. Tenders worked better and faster.

The highlight next to Quebec. We recommend a round trip through Arcadia National Park. Then we went on a gift shop shopping tour. Over 20 gift shops in one street - really crazy.

Transportation to Bar Harbor pier is by tender boat, little difficult if one is handicapped.
