Everything was very nice, especially the beaches close to the ship. This parish is very small and not built up as Hamilton which was what I was looking for. I was in Hamilton 37 yrs ago and was amazed to see that it was like downtown Boston. Not what I wanted, so I went back to St. Georges and did my shopping.

We loved docking in St. George's, Bermuda...went to St. Catherine's beach, Grotto Bay Resort, Swizzle Inn, Bailey's Ice Cream Parlor. Festival at St. George's, lots of shopping and a great evening at Hawkin's Island called Don't Stop The Carnival. A great time and I would highly recommend it.

There are a few bars and shops here, but if you are looking for big beaches or want to do extensive shopping then you are faced with taking one of the organized trips (expensive) or a taxi (reasonable if there are 3-4 sharing) to Hamilton.
