Everything is more expensive than in the US. This is a place to window-shop,o enjoy the beaches, rent a scooter, roam around and go back to the ship to eat. Highly recommended: Horseshoe beach. Perhaps the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. You can go to the bus terminal (about 4 blocks from the ship), get bus tokens (about 4 dollars), take the #7 bus and be at the beach in 20 minutes. Rental of chairs and umbrellas: $11 each. Or you may go by taxi.

Arrived a day late due to rocky crossing and high winds- walked past local taxis who weren’t keen on taking us to walk on Horseshoe beach, instead paid $5 cash for the ferry across to Hamilton. After a rum filled hot drink we got a taxi from here for a mini tour (Warwick beach included ) back to ship. Recommend rum cake - don’t recommend the dark and stormy at the fort

Blue Hole is a wonderful place to visit. You can take the city bus and then walk down the hill to Blue Hole. We got in the water and it was a little chilly and salty but such clear water.

Went on this cruise for the ports so we wouldn't be in dockyard. We lost our last day in Hamilton as the ship left at 7am instead of the 2pm we were suppose to. No explanation

I went mid-May. With temps of 77, I expected to be comfortable, but the extreme humidity nixed that. Can't imagine how it must feel in the summer. Beautiful island, but roads extremely narrow and crowded, with traffic going very fast. Not safe for pedestrians (outside of city) or cyclists (except on rail trails; but now can you safely reach them?!) Took public transport, which was a mixed bag.

Busy city. We used the bus/ferry pass to get around. Busses make a lot of stops and take a while to get from point A to point B. Ferry's are much faster. The bus and ferry schedules are hard to read and we would end up missing the one we wanted, then waiting for another hour for the next one. If I had it to do over, I would rent a scooter and do my own thing. The cathedral is a "must see" - beautiful. The beaches are great.
