If you come in on I think Sunday like we did, there is an open air market with locals selling local goods. Definitely check it out, since it's going to be one of your best opportunities to find locally crafted goods.

Not much to do in town if catching a transfer, but some good fishing charters or Glacier viewing if you have time.

Train from Anchorage only.

Docked & took train to Denali. Princess’ transport service was excellent. Train ride long but beautiful.
