Far too many staff in the Cruise Terminal do not speak english and are unable to address even simple questions.

Did the Hop on Hop off tour. Disappointed that we were dropped off downtown without warning that the driver’s shift was over. Had to walk several blocks back to our hotel.

Not a fan. We walked to dinner and the people were nice but we stayed 15 min from the port and there wasn't much to do. The taxi service was awful! We waited over an hour for one to take us to port and when we called to check they were rude and hung up on us.

We stayed at the Empire Landmark hotel and watched the end of summer fireworks show which wasn't planned but got our trip off to a great start. We bought tickets for Capilano Bridge park on Viator and took the free bus there. It's a beautiful park but too many people for my liking. I would rather go to a less popular site and enjoy the natural area. Took an evening walk at Stanley Park and wished I had the time to rent a bike and ride around the seawall the park is beautiful. I will definitely go back if I ever return to Vancouver. We had the day to kill after our cruise and decided to take the Hop on Hop off bus tour through the cruise line so our bags would be waiting at the airport for us. Most of the group ended up sleeping on the bus so not sure if that was worth it. We got off in Yaletown for a fantastic lunch at Yaletown brewery and then took the Skytrain to the airport since we didn't have enough time to finish the whole route. I would love to go back and do it again when I actually had time to get on and off to explore all the areas of this beautiful city.

We did not end up doing anything in Vancouver except board the ship. Embarking was so easy. We were boarded by 11am and had time to explore ship before special lunch.
