Lived in Seattle 10 years. Vancouver is always nice. Explore Gas Town area and Stanley Park if you have time also check out Capilano Bridge if you have transportation and time...

The trip to Butchart Gardens is great. You may see whales from the ferry. If you can overnight in Victoria do it. Dinner at the Gardens is beautiful.

Easy to get around. Easy walk to the ship from public transport, so you don't need to use a shuttle!
