Sitka is a cute town. The Historic tour was just right for us. Short and sweet yet informative. The town itself had several shops and restaurants but not an overabundance.

we did a whale and otter watching excursion that was very overpriced and crowded

The port isn’t all that pretty, but we took a boat ride - sea otter & wildlife excursion and saw a lot of sea otters, a few eagles, several orca & humpback whales, some big fishing boats - it was just amazing! I absolutely loved it all!

Not a fault of the port or the stop. It was raining the whole time we were off shore and it affected our excursion.

Needed more time in port to explore

If I could live in Alaska, this would be the place. The history, the beauty.

Wish someone would have notified us on mileage to city of Sitka…what we read it was .5 miles but was over 5 miles!

This port was a waste of time. People were friendly but the town seems like it’s dying and there wasn’t much to see or do there.
