Sitka, Alaska Port Reviews

We didn't do any excursions but we enjoyed our time at Sitka and talked to few local folks while we were checking out the town. All in all, great experience.

No excursion, just visted the museum

It was lush and beautiful. I took the excursion to the raptor center and Sitka National Park and enjoyed it very much

Didn't like tender. Way too many cruise ships in port. Cruise lines have oversold Alaska.

Regent docked at a private pier and at a time that we were the only ship in town.

We took the Fortress of the Bear excursion and we enjoyed the excursion. Our driver that took us there was great. Seeing the bears was cool. We spent the rest of our time downtown sightseeing that area. All in all it was a great day. Oh, did I mention it was the first day of no rain?

Best of Sitka tour. The Sitka Park is beautiful and we also visited the Rapture Center and Fortress of the Bears. It was probably my least favorite port. Unfortunately it’s a little run down and businesses have closed leaving little work.
