Excursion to Sitka National park. Rainy raw weather..unfortunately. saw salmon ! Yet, on last stop in life cycle..many totem poles in park. It's beautiful nature..but just had over an hour and time to head back to bus.

Sitka was beautiful

Our personal tour guide Tamasyn was awesome, professional, courteous, and well informed.

Beautiful new dock so no tender. They offer golf cart rides to the elderly and disabled. Beautiful walk along the shore.

Quiet little town - not much to see. We've been there before and it appeared there were no changes or anything new to see.

Thought I was going to a dance with Alaskan Heritage, costume and tell a story of their customs...turned out to be something else!

Bus ride into town which eats into port time. Nice little town.

If you want to go to the Raptor center, don’t pay the price for a cruise line excursion. Take the free shuttle into town and then take the town public transit bus ($3 one way) to the state park entrance. It’s $15 to get into the Raptor Center. You can walk back from the center through the forest. Lunch at the brewing company was good but they’re were swamped and it took a while to get waited on.

We were on the 8 day itinerary and got to Sitka! We took the city tour and had a great guide who loves Alaska. So much to see in the short time. We need to get back. Lovely city and lovely people.

We tendered in to Sitka and did a whale watching tour through NCL. After the tour we just walked around the town. It was beautiful.
