Big Nugget tour. This stop was ok and exactly as described but maybe more kids would have liked. Food was ok, not sure if ribs were done. Excursion took most of time off ship.

This was my favorite city in Alaska to visit. The pier for the ship was out of town, but busses were provided to shuttle everyone in. The town has a lot of history and the wildlife viewing (salmon spawning) was easy to see in all the parts of water ways around town. The walking tour was easy to follow and very enjoyable. The people were very friendly there. The souvenir shops had a wide variety of goods and shopping was fun there.

This was my favorite port. Lots of things to do within walking distance. Loved seeing and hearing the history of the totem poles.

I did the excursion to the Fortress of the Bear. I wish there'd been more than 30 minutes allotted to spend there, but I thought those bears were so adorable, and they were certainly curious about their human visitors! Afterward, I walked around downtown for a while; Sitka is a pretty area with lots of history!

We loved Sitka and the Historic Tour was so interesting. We learned a lot about the town, saw the Cathedral, museums and a lovly recital.

Didn't do an excursion. Walked around the town. Friendly people. Lots of closed businesses due to last cruise of the year. Loved that it wasn't crowded. Pleasant.
