Ports of calls were ok and the weather did not cooperate. There is not much to do and we are so glad we did not have an excursion planned. It rained all the time. We should have selected a cruise were we could experience and see more of the glaciers.

Recommend excursion for those one as the town was jank

Nice little port to walk around

I didn't do an excursion; town is too small... so the best is always to take a tour/excursion.

Great transportation services. Town is five miles away so they have shuttles every 15 minutes. Took a city bus to fortress of the heat. Fun inexpensive tour not with the ship. Beautiful town!

did not care for Sitka. Rather would have gone to Skagway

We walked the town. Enjoyed the historical park, Indian River trail, and shopping.

The only cabs are hidden behind the bus warehouse. And tehre are only a few cabins in Sitka. We were lucky to get one. Book in advance! We did a 6.5 Mile Hike from Harbor Trail Head connecting to Gavin Hill Trail and ending in the Town of Sitka. It's a bit challenging at times. We saw bear scat on the trail, treked across snow, through clouds and dense green mossy forrests. This was a trip higlight and I definitely recommend for any advid hikers!

The bears was like going to a zoo you had 30 min same with eagles. The totem poles was not even originals. Over priced for what it was.

Did not get a chance to see the town properly. Excursions left from the port which was a 15 min. bus transport to the town.
