This was where our cruise ended. We stayed here for a couple more days and we were to have gone on a boat tour of the fiords, but the 4.5 metre swell that was still running offshore put paid to that, but at least we got a full refund for the tour.

At least they aren't selling jewelry. We rented a van and went to seaveys Iditarod kennel. Great time. Only an hr. And a if then off to Homer.

If you are doing the cruisetour (not just the cruise) don't count on the aquarium taking 2 1/2 hours to get through. We went through it in 1/2 hour.

Arrived early. This is where disembarked and got on a coach to take to Denali. So we didnt spend any time exloring this port.

Not as pretty as Juneau or Ketchikan. A shuttle was provided to town, but we did not get off in town as there wasn't much to see in this mostly industrial area.

Can't really rate it because we got off the ship and got on the train and left for Denali. I wished that we had taken the Misty Fiord Excursion!

We spent the night in Seward before hand at a place called Alaskan Creekside Cabins. Loved them...and dinner at Chinooks was GREAT.
