Book the Wildlife and Lighthouse tour. It is not well represented on Norwegians excursion list but it was amazing! The boat is a multimillion dollar, very comfortable boat with huge windows that are ceiling to floor with two indoor levers and 3 outdoor. If you want to see whales, do this one! We saw one whale in the distance and while 5 other boats were rushing toward that one, our captain got word that there was something better 15 minutes away. We saw up close 6 humpback whales bubble net fishing. That is where they make a circle of bubbles to trap the fish and shoot straight up, mouths open to catch them. Breathtaking!

I loved this port! There were so many shops right next to the dock with lots of wonderful local art! You could also take a taxi to see the town, but I was perfectly content in the little shops by the ship. This port also has the smallest Walmart in America, if you are interested. Several people visited the Walmart to get some things they were missing on the cruise (chips, soda, etc).

I'll give it 5 stars but we really wanted to go to Victoria, BC but was changed to this port. No excursion booked, just walked around the port area and tried to get into a restaurant that had an hour wait, so we just went back to the ship to eat. Nice enough port, just not a lot to do in my estimation.

Had some cute, different shops from the other ports - just a small selection. We only stayed about an hour. Saw the Sunken Gardens which were good. Visited the museum gift shop. Would have rather stopped at Vancouver.
