Ketchikan, Alaska Port Reviews

This was a very cute unique little port and I would highly recommend this. I eat it a pizzeria there. It was so delicious. And the lumberjack show was really good. It was funny and entertaining.

Our favorite! The pub crawl was such fun, the guide engaging and funny and everyone enjoyed it.

We had been to Ketchikan before so did not take an excursion. Enjoyed walking around town. When we were there before, the salmon were running and it was lots of fun with hundreds of bald eagles and even some bear around. That was all missing this trip so I would definitely advise that this is not a good time of year to visit. We still enjoyed Ketchikan

Out of all ports, it's the best. A cute town, with some nice spots, but that's about it.

Dog sledding was awesome

Town was walking distance from the ship. Shopping was good.

Fun town

City too big & crowded. It’s main focus is to get your every last cent. Would avoid if possible.😞

We had a fantastic time in Ketchikan. We visited the Rainforest Sanctuary and that’s where we finally saw a bear and cubs on our trip. Also walked around the town, went through Creek Street and ate at 108 Taphouse and Burger Bar which was phenomenal. Would love to go back here one day but truthfully, I don’t think we would do an excursion as there’s so many things to do and see there in town.

Ketchikan is a small town. We didn't do an excursion here. We had a breakfast that included reindeer sausage then walked around the town. There are lots of shops. Totem poles all around the town and the salmon ladder would be very interesting if you're there at the right time of year.
