Again, we've gone salmon fishing, taken the tours in the past. This time, we walked all around town, stopping in for a bite or drink in some of the local spots.

It poured down in buckets the day we went. Saw the lumberjack show. We were under a cover. I loved the show and it's worth the time. The town was ok. They are fixing the roads while we were there. Annebelle restaurant was good. Don't eat the wings, not good. The chowders we're good.

We loved Ketchikan. We wished we had more time here. We went on the boat trip to Mysty Fjord. This was lovely. We saw seals, bears, black tailed deer, eagles and orcas on this trip. The Fjord itself was amazing, waterfalls, and the colors and trees growing out of these huge mountains where you could see where glaciers had been. We had a great crew and captain, and they explained all the surroundings we were viewing, answered questions and gave us time to take pictures, even turning around so everyone could have an opportunity to see some eagles. When we got back to port, we had to go straight to the ship and this was a bummer because we would of loved to walk around. The town was adorable and the biplanes taking off and landing were fun to watch. We would of loved another hour here!

did the Bering Sea Deadliest Catch tour (offered through HAL) and it was fantastic caught huge crabs, shrimps, octopus etc and told great stories of their adventures

Ketchikan had a bigger center, more shops that were interesting.

We did the Crabfest and Lumberjack Show. Crabfest was excellent - both in food quality and entertainment quality. The ladies serving the crab made sure that we did not go away hungry! Lumberjack show was also excellent and very entertaining and educational.

Another adorable town. Sea plane to Misty Ford Glacier. An adventure I will never forget - amazing, breathtaking and a once in a lifetime experience.
