Another pre-arranged excursion. We were met at the pier for a sea plane flight through the Misty Fiords. This was awesome and we landed on a secluded body of water in the mountains where we could step out onto the pontoon to stretch our legs. Only a few of the 6 of us chose to do this. By the time we returned to the pier there wasn't enough time to check out the shops on Creek Street or see the lumberjack competition. We could've used a little more time in port.

We all liked Ketchikan. Hopped on the "Silver Line" city bus, $5/person for an all day pass. Rode up to a national park and hiked around looking at all kinds of cool totem poles. Walked out on a rocky beach and enjoyed the view. Spoke to a few locals on the ride back and they told us about an alternate place to get off the bus so we could walk along a stream full of Salmon on our way back to the port. Did some shopping before getting back on the ship. Great time.
